Ricardo specializes in tax advisory services for financial institutions and multinational groups, and in mergers and acquisitions. He has delivered numerous conferences on those subjects at specialized seminars in Spain and abroad.

He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and of the Alumni Association of Universidad Comercial de Deusto.

He has been a member of the Editorial Board of the journals Expansión and Actualidad Económica.

Ricardo is currently a member of the Board of the Taxand Alliance and of the Permanent Scientific Committee of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).

He has been the chairman of the Fundación Impuestos y Competitividad (Tax and Competitiveness Foundation).

He was nominated ‘Star Individual’ by Chambers Europe in 2011 and 2012.
